Set up a Conference Call

When the call waiting and the three-way call features are available, you can switch between two calls or set up a conference call.  With this feature, you can talk to two connections at the same time.

1.  Place the first call.

2. Once you have established the connection for the first call, press the Flash (or Talk) key on your handset.

3.  When you hear a dial tone, dial the second number.

4.  When the second call has connected, press the 3 key and the Flash (or Talk) key to establish the three-way connection.

5.  To end the conference call, hang up your handset or return the handset to the receiver base.

NOTE:  If the initiator of the three-way call hangs up or is disconnected, all callers are disconnected.  If one of the other callers ends the call from their end, the remaining callers will still be connected.

Use Call Waiting

Call waiting allows you to be notified of incoming calls while already participating on another call.  To place the current call on hold and accept the incoming call, press the Flash (or Talk) key on your handset.  You can then press the number 2 key and the Flash (or Talk) key anytime to switch back between the two connections.

To keep the current call and hang up the incoming call, press the number 0 key + press the Flash (or Talk) key.  To hang up the current call and accept the incoming call, press the number 1 key and press the Flash (or Talk) key.

NOTES:
You are also able to swap between outbound calls following the below steps:

1.  Place the first call

2.  Once the connection is established, press the Flash (or Talk) key on you handset.  This will place the connection on hold.

3.  Proceed to dial the second number.  When this connection is established, press the number 2 key and Flash (or Talk) key to place the second connection on hold and reconnect with the first call.

4.  With both connections established, you can then press the number 2 key and Flash (or Talk) key to switch back and forth between calls.

If your handset does not have a Flash (or Talk) key, use the off-hook mechanism supported by your phone instead.  The call waiting and three-way call features need network support and may result in additional charges.  Contact your service provider for additional information regarding your rate plan features.

Forward Incoming Calls

The call forwarding feature allows you to forward your incoming calls to another phone number, such as a mobile phone or an office line. If you've enabled call forwarding, your home phone will not receive calls until you turn this option off.

NOTE:  Airtime applies to forwarded calls even if you send the call to landline phones.  Contact your service provider for assistance on how to set an available option (Always forward, When busy, When unanswered, or When unreachable).
