How to Power off your Tablet2

Google has some new methods to power off your device because the power button may also be used for Google Assistant.
  • Press Volume Up + Power buttons to trigger the options to Power Off or restart
  • Slide down to open the drop-down menu and select the switch button to trigger the options: Power Off or restart
  • To disable LPP (long press power button) the user should go to Settings > System> Gestures>Press and Hold Power Button> disabled the switch for hold for Assistant, but this may not enable the Power button to trigger the Powering off and/or restart options.
    • Google Assistant will now be triggered by long-press of the home button.
