Customize Tablet Settings

Wi-Fi connection

1. To Access the internet through a Wi-Fi network, go to the Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
2. Tap on/off to activate Wi-Fi capability, a list of available networks will display. 
3. Select the network that you want to connect to. Some networks are secured and may require a password to connect you Tablet. 
*If you experience issues connecting your Tablet to you Wi-Fi, please contact your wireless provider. 

Wi-Fi Hotspot

1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Hotspot & Tethering > Wi-Fi Hotspot
2. Turn on Wi-Fi Hotspot to activate. 
*If you experience issues activating your Tablet's Hotspot capabilities, or connecting other devices to the Hotspot, please contact your wireless provider. 

USB Tethering

1. Connect your device to a computer via USB Type C.
2. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Hotspot & Tethering
3. Tap USB Tethering to activate. 
Note: These options may incur additional data usage charges, depending on your data plan. Please contact your network operator for further details. Additional charges may be applied if your device in network roaming. 

Bluetooth

Connect your device and a Bluetooth headset or other Bluetooth devices. 
1. Go to Settings > Connected Devices > Connection preferences > Bluetooth
2. Tap to turn on Bluetooth. 
3. Tap Pair New Device if a list of pairing devices does not automatically appear. 
4. Select a device from the pairing device list. 
Note: Bluetooth devices are sold separately. If you experience issues pairing a Bluetooth device to your Tablet, please contact the Bluetooth device's support. 

Sound Settings

You can define the default ringtone for alarm and incoming notifications, messages, etc. You can also adjust the volume for each individual sound. 
1. Swipe up from the Home Screen, tap Settings > Sound.
2. Position the slider to adjust volume for Media, Call, Ring, or Alarm, separately. 
3. Set sound for Ring and Alarm separately. 
4. Touch Advanced to  expand options and select a named switch to turn its sound on or off. 

Language Set Up 

1. Go to Settings > System > Languages & input > Language > Add a Language
2. Select the language that you want to add from the available list. 
3. Drag the added language to the first line to set it as your preference. 

Performing a factory reset

Factory resets will erase all data from your device's internal storage. Please make sure to back up important data on your device before restoring factory settings. 
1. Go to Settings > System. 
2. Tap Advanced to expand options list. 
3. Tap Reset options > Erase all data (factory reset), and then tap Erase all data.
