Customize Your Homescreen

The Home screen is the starting point for accessing apps and functions on your device. 

By customizing your Home screen, you can alter your Tablet experience to fit your needs. You can view and find all Apps, folders, and widgets on the Home screen. 

Add an App Shortcut: 

1. From the App list, choose the App that you want to move

2. Hold and drag the App's icon to the top of the screen - the Home screen should open 

3. Drag the icon to the desired location for the App's placement and release. The App's icon will fall into place. 

 

Remove an App Shortcut

1. Tap and hold the App icon that you want to remove.

2. Drag the App to the bold X  at the top of the screen. 

Create a Folder

1. Drag the App icon to another App that you want to share a folder

2. Drop the App on top of the other App, a folder should be created. 

3. Tap to open the folder and tap Unnamed Folder to name the folder. 

4. To add Apps to the folder, simply hold, drag, and release the App onto the folder. 

Delete a Folder

1. Tap on the folder to enter.

2. Drag all of the App icons out of the folder onto the Home Screen. 

3. When one App icon is left, the folder should disappear. 

Add Widget

1. Tap on empty space on the Home screen, an options list should appear. 

2. Tap Widgets to open Widgets list. 

3. Choose the Widget you would like to add, hold and drag to drop the selected widget onto the Home Screen. 

Remove Widget

1. Tap and hold the Widget that you want to remove.

2. Drag the widget to the bold X  at the top of the screen. 

Change the Wallpaper 

You can change the wallpaper for Home and Lock screen to either a preloaded wallpaper or photos from your Photos app. 

1. Tap on empty space on the Home screen, an options list should appear. 

2. Tap Wallpaper and select Wallpapers to open an images list. 

3. Select the image you would like as a Wallpaper. 

4. Tap Set Wallpaper. Apply options should display to allow you to choose which screen to apply the Wallpaper. 

Move Apps to another screen

1. Tap and hold the App you want to move. 

2. Drag the App to the left or right side of the screen, until the screen switches, and drop it.
